Traffic stop leads to Felony Drug Arrest in Town of Arena

Sheriff Michael Peterson reported on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at approximately 2:40 a.m., an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver Volvo for failure to dim headlights and operating left of center on USH-14 near Baxter Road in the Town of Arena.

The driver was identified as Hope Marie Millard, age 40, of Richland Center, Wisconsin. During a search deputies located two bags of a crystal-like substance. The bags field-tested positive for methamphetamine, with a total weight of approximately 4.05 ounces.

Millard faces the following charges:

Possession with Intent to Deliver Amphetamine (over 50g) – Felony

Resisting or Obstructing an Officer – Misdemeanor

She is currently on probation through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, which has placed a probation hold.
