Southwest Tech Foundation completes property purchase

The Southwest Tech Foundation has completed purchase of the former site of the Iowa County Jail on the city’s north side.

“We are anxious to see what they do with the property,” County Administrator Larry Bierke said.

The announcement was made at the Iowa County Board’s monthly meeting Tuesday night.  It was part of Bierke’s administrator’s report.

The board handled a group of resolutions and amendmets to ordinances.

They moved a decision on Ordinance 600.30-Foreclosure on Tax Liens by action in REM to the May  meeting...
