Student says help schools

Dear Editor,

As a student of Dodgeville School District for more than eight years, our district has helped me grow as a person, thinker, and as an academic more than ever since I moved into this town back in third grade. It has helped me grow emotionally, valuing myself and my social connections as well as growing my fond memories with numerous teachers and friends. I have had years with the district and this beloved town, and I would like to stay in this district until the end of my high school career.  

As a goal of getting my dual major in Computer Science and Economics, my main path that will lead to my success is through Dodgeville High School - with the many athletic and club/organization programs they have to offer, from many of my favorite clubs and sports to the many academic course opportunities they give to students to set them up for college. 

Many of my fellow high schoolers in our district are going through one of the most influential time periods of our life, one that will decide the course of our future and decide our career. 

Myself and other students would love to have your support to help our school and district grow for its respected and admired standing further on in the future. Please help us all by voting YES for the school referendum on Nov. 5!
