Some recycling problems

Dear Editor,

I liked the article you had earlier this year about the recycling and garbage people a break because of the bad weather. Currently, I have been working for the Town of Dodgeville as a Recycling Attendant 3 ½ years. Some of the residents complain why that the Recycling Center is closed during bad weather.

Some people think if I make it out to get rid of the garbage and recyclables and in return that you have to be open regardless to the weather. There is nothing in writing that states it has to be open during schedule times.

The other issues that bug me that people that are people not from the "Town of Dodgeville" are bringing their garbage and recyclables in there. The people that have curbside pick-up every week bring their things there because they don't care or they missed the pick-up date. Why should the Town of Dodgeville residence have to pay more in taxes to get rid of someone else's stuff. When the City of Dodgeville has their city wide clean-up and the city people bring their things to the Town of Dodgeville because they don't know where to go even if it written in the ads in the Dodgeville Chronicle.

Looks like there is more and more misinformation out there. Seems like people don't care and take advantage much as possible.
