Iowa-Grant board sets tax levy

Taxpayers in the Iowa-Grant School District will be asked for a tax levey of $3,212,151.00 to balance the budget for operating the school in 2024-2025.

The levy will include a mill rate of 6.42.  

Iowa-Grant business manager Loras Winders presented the budget at the budget hearing of the district which was sandwiched in during the regular monthly board meeting.  

The annual meeting followed which was where the levy was approved.

In other annual meeting business the board approved a resolution that allows for transportation of students.  They also approved accident insurance for students along with keeping school board salaries the same...
