Silk Road Conference to explore foreign trade here November 8

The Dodger Bowl will have an international flavor November 8 when it provides the venue for the first ever Tri-State Silk Road Conference.

Theme of the conference is “There is a new era in Central Asia and will focus on the rapidly expanding economics of Central Asia.  It will be a chance to network and explore opportunities for many types of businesses. It is being organized by Harry Lepinske and James McCaulley.  Lepinske is the conference chairman and honorary professor of a university in Azerbaijani where he has been teaching both on campus and by zoom for 25 years.  McCaulley is a former Mayor of Dodgeville and worked for Soil Conservation Services.

The name, Silk Road, has a history....
