Sometimes you realize you are not invincible.  I found that out Sunday when I had a medical emergency that sent me to the hospital. I missed our final fall baseball game of the season and I really missed being there. But it could not be helped and I thank those who stepped in to make the final day a great one for the kids.

I was blessed by my family pitching in to help me and keep me sane.  I was in a lot of pain.

As I write this I am a few hours from surgery.  I am glad we have a hospital in our community where the treatment is excellent and the staff is outstanding.

I hope all goes well and I am back doing what I do.  If there is a story or game missing this week I apologize.for anything missed and will be better when I am better.
