Wayne E. Tillotson, 67, of Cuba City, WI, died Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born June 13, 1957, the son of Edwin and Marjorie (Morgan) Tillotson. Wayne married Denise Thomas on April 8, 1978 in Cobb, WI.
He served in the US Air Force from 1975 through 1980, where he served as a Pararescueman. Wayne worked as an electrician in Florida from 1980 to 1997 before moving to Wisconsin. He owned and operated All Phase Electric and Control. While living in Florida, Wayne and Denise enjoyed building and showing street rods. He was a passionate biker and he and Denise enjoyed biking around the country. Wayne enjoyed working the Rountree Branch trail with the Monday Platteville Community Arboretum. Through 4-H, he enjoyed teaching archery to area youth for many years.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Denise and children, Erin (Richard) Heim and Kyle Tillotson, sisters, Suzanne (Phil) Sliwa, Janine (Walter) Hyde and Kristi (Scott) Kramer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, WI, where Chapel Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion #42 and VFW #5274 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a tree in Wayne's honor.
