Lease, Dianne C.

Dianne C. Lease, age 87, formerly of Verona and Ridgeway, died on Monday, November 4, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

She was born on October 20, 1937 in Madison, a daughter of Charles and Beatrice Stampfl. She graduated from Verona High School. On February 23, 1957, she married Gerald Lease. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2017.

Dianne spent many years working customer service in the banking industry. She loved sewing, quilting, gardening and reading.

Dianne is survived by her sons Jerry (Brenda) Lease, John (Janet) Lease, Jeff Lease, Jay (Karen) Lease, Jan (Claudia) Lease; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers Richard (Ruth) Stampfl and Chuck (Judy) Stampfl; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, her son Jim Lease, her brother and sister-in-law Linus (Helene) Stampfl.

A Mass of Christian Burial was  celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at ST. BRIDGET’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway. Burial was held in St. Bridget’s Cemetery. A visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. on Friday at ST. BRIDGET’S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Ridgeway.
