Two SWC wins in busy week for Dodgers


Nathan Johnson and Aiden Murphy combined to shut out Lancaster to avenge an earlier loss in SWC action.

The Dodgers went on to beat the Flying arrows 4-0.

The Dodgers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Luke Latterall doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Johnson earned the win for  Dodgers. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one. 

Colby Lull started on the hill for Lancaster Flying Arrows. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out 10 and walking four. 

Murphy tossed two innings of scoreless ball for the Dodgers in relief. They surrendered one hit, striking out three and walking none.

Latterall seized on his opportunities, leading the Dodgers with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. He went 1-for-2 on the day. 

Reilly Berg and Latterall each collected one hit for Dodgeville . 

Johnson stole two bases.  of Dodgeville’s four thefts....
