Pointer baseball edged by Riverdale

Mineral Point hit the ball hard all night but more often than not it was right at a Riverdale player and The Chieftains hung on to defeat The Pointers Friday afternoon at Ted Evans Field in Mineral Point 3-2.

The Pointers would take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning after Grady Finley doubled and scored on a Brady Radtke single.  

Riverdale would tie the game 1-1 in the top of the second inning after Andre Tainter tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly by Talan Childs to right field...
