Kabat, Tuttle go deep to beat Bulldogs

Boscobel pitcher Greta Grassel won the strikeout battle with 13 but Liz Hoffman won the game as the Pointers handled Boscobel 8-5 in a SWAL game Friday.

The Pointers got a pair of key home runs that helped decide the outcome. Hoffman remained solid on the mound with a six hit, six strikeout, three walk performance.

The Pointers took a quick 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first when Hoffman singled and gave way to courtesy runner Chloe McVay. Maddy Kabat then reached the fences for a two run blast....
