Dodgeville School Board moving toward referendum decision


School Perceptions gave the Dodgeville School Board a review of the recent survey the company provided for the district on the feasibility of a referendum.

Darren Sievers represented the firm that has been very active in the area with the number of referendums that have been presented to voters.  The Dodgeville district is looking at having a referendum as part of the November Presidential Election voting and is in the process of gathering information.

Dodgeville principal and soon to be District Administrator Ryan Bohnsack told the board they have time to make a final decision on how much to ask the taxpayers to approve for operational needs.  He said the district should have an answer on their “ask” by the July meeting. A decision must be made by August to get a referendum on the November ballot....
