Linda Lu Ruetten, 72, of Muscoda died Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born on March 6, 1951, in Muscoda the daughter of Marvin and Lucile (Oleson) Fleming. Linda was united in marriage to Fred Ruetten on August 3, 1968, at the Pulaski Presbyterian Church and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2004. She was later united in marriage to Jack Frazier on March 6, 2007, and he preceded her in death on September 24, 2010. Linda farmed side by side with Fred and was a bookkeeper at Bob's Electric for 30 years. She loved her birds, flowers, sewing, and especially sewing for her grandchildren. Linda was close to the Lord her entire life, she was a valued member of the Avoca Bible Church, teaching Sunday School and singing in church. Linda's pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. She was a kind, generous, loving woman, who always thought of others.
Linda is survived by four children: Lisa Jo (Joe) Miller of Muscoda, Scott Frederic (Dawn) Ruetten of Muscoda, Lori Lucile (Brian) Laufenberg of Platteville, Jennifer Jo Ruetten of Middleton; 4 Grandchildren: Kyle Miller, Tyler Ruetten, Alaina Ruetten, Jacob Ruetten; Sister-in-law: Ruby Fleming of Portland, OR; many other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Fred Ruetten and Jack Frazier, grandson Collin Ruetten, and brother Gene Fleming.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Avoca Bible Church with burial to follow in the Pulaski Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Avoca Bible Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. A livestream of the funeral can be viewed at the Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service website.
