Mineral Point City Council Approves High Street Closure for 4th of July Fireworks Show

At the June City Council meeting, the Chamber of Commerce's request to block off High Street for the 4th of July fireworks show was officially approved. This closure will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Street Closure Details:

• Closure Time: High Street will be closed to all traffic starting at 8:30 PM.

• Parking Restrictions: Any vehicles parked on High Street will not be able to leave until after the fireworks show concludes.

• Parking Arrival: If you plan to park on High Street to watch the fireworks, you must arrive before 8:30 p.m. Once the street is barricaded, no vehicles will be allowed to enter.

Reopening Coordination:

• Volunteers will be on hand to coordinate the reopening of High Street after the fireworks. Please wait for a volunteer's direction before attempting to leave in your vehicle.
