Hughes, Leslie "Tom"

Leslie "Tom" Hughes, age 87, of Mineral Point passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Mineral Point Health Services.

Tom lived in Wisconsin most of his life and lived in Mineral Point for over 50 years.   He is preceded in death by his siblings;  Roland Hughes, Margaret Winter (Hughes),  Marcella Davenport (Hughes),  Eddie and Nancy Hughes, David Hughes,  Bill Hughes, Anna Hughes (Wilbur Polkinghorn), Tom worked for the City of Mineral Point for most of his life.  Tom had nieces and nephews to help him at times with the garage truck, he liked tinkering in the garage to fix things and always made sure the stray cats were fed as his thing to do.  Tom was an out going person and always liked to joke around and he enjoyed spending time with family.  Tom is preceded death by his parents Ruth and Francis Hughes and his siblings.  

A Graveside Service will be held at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
