Stevens, Eleanor M.

Eleanor M. Stevens, age 97, of Dodgeville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville.

Eleanor was born on May 12, 1927 in Fennimore, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Emma (Fischer) Maso. On August 8, 1941, she was united in marriage to Wendell Stevens. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2006.

Eleanor is survived by her four children Robert (Delores) Stevens of Linden, Jean (Donald) Cunningham of Belmont, William Stevens of Lancaster and David Stevens of Dodgeville; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Lillian Nye, her daughter-in-law Karen Stevens, her nephew Charles Nye, an infant sister, a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Burial will be held in Linden Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
