Kraus, Tina L.

Tina L. Kraus, age 63, of Rewey, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Agrace Hospice Care Center in Fitchburg WI surrounded by her loved ones.

Tina was born on September 3, 1960 in Ohio. Tina loved to travel (via travel camper), go camping with her grandkids, horseback riding, side-by-siding, Hodagging in Rhinelander Wi, deer watching and watching the sunset from her deck. Tina especially enjoyed when her and Wayne would take their "extended road trips" together – which involved picking a section of the US and spending 8-12 weeks exploring the area with the camper and side-by-side. Tina had a strong work ethic and took great pride in the fact that she could support herself and raised four boys nearly single handedly.

Tina is survived by her life partner of 15 years; Wayne Ziegler. Her sons; Bill Conner, Jay Conner, Nick Kraus, and RayShawn Kraus. Her grandchildren; Breanna Radke, Natasha Conner, Diamonte Conner, Jayce Conner, Karter Kraus, Alayna Kraus, and Zaedin Kraus. Her siblings; Anna, Rosie, Margie, Bill, and Bev. And most importantly, her pride and joy, her dog Miki.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point.  Pastor Steve Schneider will officiate.  Burial will be in the Mifflin Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the Gorgen Funeral Home.

Tina's family would like to send much appreciation to the amazing staff at UW Health Hospital and Agrace Hospice Care Center for the great care Tina received throughout her final weeks.
