Anderson-Wunderlin, Delia D.

Delia D. Anderson-Wunderlin, age 83 of Cobb, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024. Delia was born in Dodgeville on August 25, 1940, to Milo and Esther Anderson. She graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1958.

Delia worked for Western Union as a teletype operator in Milwaukee; and for 40 years, she worked at Land's End. Additionally, she owned Wunder Inn Bar and Restaurant in Cobb for many years. 

Delia will be remembered for her loving and kind heart as a mother, wife, sister, and aunt. She was a long-time member of the Lioness Club. Delia loved her cats and her dog, Sparky. She was an avid fan of the Packers, Elvis, and Johnny Cash.

She is survived by her sons: Dan (Patrice) Thompson of Texas and Fran Thompson of Dodgeville; grandson, Lance Thompson of Milwaukee; sisters: Becky Anderson and Susan Anderson of Monona; and brother, Reverend Milo Kenneth (Rosalie) Anderson of California; as well as other family members and friends.

Delia was preceded in death by her husband Francis J. Wunderlin, her first husband Fran Thompson, her parents, her nephew Kevin Anderson, grandparents, and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Grace Lutheran Church, Dodgeville. Friends may call at the church beginning at 9:30 AM until the start of the Service. Inurnment will commence after the service at East Side Cemetery with Pastor Kim Peterson officiating.
