Dodgers hit some rough spots with Prairie, Blue Devils
Dodgeville’s boys basketball team hit a couple rough spots in their last two outings, losing a SWC contest to Prairie du Chien and a non-conference game to Evansville.
Prairie played their usual tough defense with a lot of physicality game and they got past the Dodgers 42-32.
The Dodgers had a two point lead at halftime at 19-17 but the Prairie Hawks pulled it out at the end. Tyler Harris, who led Prairie with 13 points, put in eight the second half to lead the comeback. Max Schneider added 11. mostly on shots under the basket and in the lane.
Noah Pittz led the Dodgers in scoring with 11 points.

At Evansville the Dodgers again came up short this time 61-59 to the Blue Devils.
Reilly Berg had his best offensive game of the season with 19 points and he was the only Dodger in double figures
Freshman Karder Tway put in 21 for the Blue Devils with nine coming the second half.
Brady Jabs put in nine points, allin the second half for the Dodgers to keep them close and Berg added six.
Next action for the Dodgers is tonight at Lancaster for a SWC match-up. Saturday they head to Brodhead and Tuesday to Black Hawk for non-conference games.
