Mahieu, Don

Don Mahieu, age 70, of Mineral Point died on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his home.  He was born on March 16, 1953 in Davenport, IA  to Lawrence W. & Kathleen M. (Noonan) Mahieu.

Don purchased his building in 1987 in downtown Mineral Point & restored every inch of it to its Historic Glory winning the State Historic Restoration award.

He was a Master wood sculptor and he has sculptures all over the world.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years Joey (Bremmer) Mahieu

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first love & wife Kathleen (Davis) Mahieu & his son Chris Mahieu.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held on February 10, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Cafe 43 (43 High St, Mineral Point, WI).
