Specatular Specatular Christmas concert in Barneveld, Mineral Point

Area residents are invited to ‘Ring in the Holiday Season’ in Barneveld on December 14th at the  Barneveld Congregational and December 16th at Mineral Point Opera House 17th annual ‘Spectacular, Spectacular’ Community Christmas Concert. The concert will feature nine nationally, regionally and locally known musicians who will perform a variety of Christmas and contemporary music.  The concert, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at the Barneveld Congregational Church, and 4:00 p.m. at the Mineral Point Opera House and will benefit the Community Connections Free Clinic in Dodgeville.  A freewill offering will be taken during the event to be given to the Free Clinic.

 The headliner for the 17th consecutive year will be Dale Kitchell, an operatic tenor whose work spans the gamut from classical to Broadway to contemporary music.  Kitchell, who lives in Miami, Fla., has been entertaining audiences in south Florida for more than two decades...
