Iceline “Sissy” A. Schultz, age 69, passed away on Friday December 6, 2024, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 12, 1954; the daughter of Robert and Iceline (Lopez) Perkins. Sissy was not a Montfort native but called it her home for most of her adult life, raising her children there and working at Lands’ End in Dodgeville.
Sissy was a vibrant soul who was full of life. She had a personality that lit up any room she was in. Sissy never had trouble saying whatever was on her mind and had a straightforward way of sharing how she felt. She enjoyed spending time crafting and tending to her flower gardens and had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially dogs.
Though life was not always easy for her, Sissy never let the difficult times change her heart. She was a one-of-a-kind mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a creative sense of humor and could always be counted on for a silly prank or two. Sissy was the best grandmother and treasured every moment she spent with her family.
Sissy is survived by her three children: Pam Ziegler (Seth), Bobbie Lynn Schultz (Joe Alvin and son, Johnathon), and Larry Dale (Mandy) Schultz; three grandchildren: Alexis Schultz (Ty Mayne), Maggie Schultz, and LJ Schultz; siblings: Doris Schmoldt, Debbie Peterson, Joe (Gina) Perkins, John (Debbie) Perkins, and Richard Perkins; special nieces and nephews: Janice (Chris) Richards, Britney (Dalton) Mauro, Brandon (Hanna) Perkins and Tyree Schultz; as well as many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Perkins III; and niece, Judy Sprigler.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 13, 2024, at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home. For online condolences, please visit: www.larsonfuneralhomes.com
Sissy’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Agrace Hospice nurses for their incredible care these past couple of months.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
