Schult, Connie Jo

Connie Jo Schult, age 54 of Dodgeville, formerly of Mineral Point, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27, 2024, at Upland Hills Health Nursing Home.  She was born on January 17, 1970, to Wayne and Marilyn (Hunt) Argall.  She graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1988 and got a Cosmetology license from SWTC in 1989. She worked for Hair Unlimited right after.  

In April 1992, Connie was involved in a serious car accident. Despite this, she persevered and led a vibrant life filled with enjoyable experiences, which included traveling to Mexico, Florida, Nashville, and Myrtle Beach. With help, she built a handicapped-accessible home in Mineral Point that allowed her to live with some independence. She enjoyed country music concerts with friends and, of course, loved to go shopping. She adored several pet cats over the years and most recently loved Whalen, the dog that visited the Uplands Rehab Center where she was living.  She always approached things with great enthusiasm and determination, worrying about the consequences only afterward. This mindset enabled her to embrace the life she had fully. 

     Connie is survived by her siblings, Karen (Kevin) Jorgenson of Mineral Point, Brenda (David) Scheel, East Troy, and Mike (Tara) Argall of Prairie du Sac.  Her second mother, Linda Argall of Madison. Nieces and nephews Kami (Chase) Ivey, Kody (Sara) Jorgenson, Caden, Bryce, and Gabbi Argall; 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews, an aunt, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Argall, in 2013, and her parents. 

     A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 12:00 until 1:30 PM at the Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point.  A Private family service will be held and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. 

The family would like to extend a big thank you to Upland Hills Health Nursing Home and Rehabilitation staff and Upland Hills Hospice for their great care for Connie.
