Ellis, Tami K.

Tami K. Ellis, age 59, of Cobb, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at her home.

Tami was born on October 23, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of Brian and Leslie Ellis. She graduated from Hampshire High School, Illinois in 1982. She also attended Elgin Community College studying Journalism. She was an avid horse fan, owning a horse of her own. She also loved animals and had a dog (Mocha) and cat (Snuggles). Tami enjoyed reading in her spare time, reading many documentary books and books about life in Ireland. She enjoyed attending the Irish fest every year and even travelled to Ireland to experience the culture first hand.

Tami loved going to hockey games, especially the Chicago Wolves when she lived in Illinois in the 1990’s. She also loved to play tennis and was a part of a ballet class. She was also an avid reader of the Bible and had a firm belief in Jesus.

Tami was very caring. In the fact, she helped take care of her mother until she passed away in 2018.

Tami worked at Lands’ End Company for 20+ years in Dodgeville, WI doing various key jobs in the company. Prior to that she worked in Illinois as a customer service rep at Michaels and as a short order cook at Skelly’s in Hampshire, IL while still attending high school.

Tami is survived by her siblings Jeff and Tim Ellis and her father Brian Ellis (81).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville.

Another Memorial Service will be held at MEADOWS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, 2401 Kirchoff Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
