Dodgeville school financial picture discussed, many items handled at special meeting Wednesday

New Dodgeville District Administrator Ryan Bohnsack has been getting down to business so to speak with the district’s finances.

He has come to the conclusion that with all the district has had to face the past few years they have done a good job for both the students and the taxpayers.

“When you look at yourselves just know you have done a good job managing the district’s finances,” Bohnsack said.  “You have provided quality programs, worked on open enrollment and are moving toward a referendum to allow us to continue to provide  for our students.”

Board member Tom McGraw, who is on the Finance Committee, said he feels the district needs to show the financial impact the district faces.  

“We need to break it down and show people what the financial picture really is,” McGraw added....
