Swenson, Jessi Lynn

Jessi Lynn Swenson, age 49 of Barneveld, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, due to complications related to her health.

Jessi was born in Madison, WI, on May 29, 1975.  She graduated from Barneveld High school in 1993.  She went on to earn her BS in Biology from Edgewood College.

Jessi was a huge animal lover, especially cats and one special dog, Coco.  She had a big heart and loved to rescue orphan kittens and give them a good home.  She was an avid gardener and loved to travel, see the country and take pictures.  Lots and Lots of pictures.

Jessi is survived by her beloved daughter, Elora, brothers John and Jared, niece and nephew Haedyn and Hudson Swenson and parents John and Judy Swenson, her close friend Al and her beloved dog Coco.    She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John and Jeanette Richard and their son John Richard Jr., and paternal grandparents Bud and Marion Swenson.

Jessi will be remembered for her great love for Elora, big heart and kindness to animals, a great sense of humor and a big smile.

The family is planning a private graveside service.

A special celebration of her life will be held for close friends and family members at a later date.
