Tarrell fast becoming a strikeout artist for Highland

Highland’s softball team continues to get big strikeout numbers from right handed pitcher Kate Tarrell and she sent nine back to the bench in a Six Rivers game with Potosi/Cassville.

Tarrell struck out in a 9-2 win Monday.  He gave up four hits, two runs and walked one.  P/C scored single runs in the first and sixth.

Faith Yaun swung the big bat for the Cardinals with a 3x4 performance that included two rbis, a double and a home run.

Tarrell got into the act herself with a double, 2x4 plate effort and three rbis....
