Dodgers sweep Hornets in SWC

Dodgeville’s volleyball team made quick work of Richland Center in a SWC match Thursday, sweeping the Hornets 3-0.

Scores were 25-23, 25-20, 25-16.

“Wow what a match,” said Dodgeville coach Kristi Bramlett.  “We knew going in it was going to be tough as Richland Center always brings great competition and energy to the gym.”

But the Dodgers had a game plan and the answers.

“We ran a quick offense which is what really helped us elevate to the next level and finish in three sets,” Bramlett added. “Everything was clicking tonight. Our communication was there, passing was outstanding from our defensive players and our hitters were hot.”

“RC put up a strong block so we had to work around that to be successful,”Bramlett said. “Overall it was a great night of volleyball with great competition.”
