Marcia Kay (Dimpfl, Tilley) Coover, 73, of Carmel, IN, passed away August 10, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born April 20, 1950, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to the late Robert Dimpfl and Orlene (Hendrickson, Dimpfl) Steiner. She was a graduate of Hollandale High School. Marcia spent most of her career as a Customer Service and Claims Manager at Rural Mutual in Wisconsin. She later enjoyed working as a teacher in the Tots program with Westfield Washington Schools (Indiana) where she loved preschool children.

Marcia was devoted to her family and friends and spent as much time enjoying them as she could. She was a devoted fan of the Wisconsin Badgers and enjoyed tailgating trips with friends before Badger football games. In her younger years, Marcia was a member of a bowling league with her friends. She was a lover of music, especially Elvis, The Righteous Brothers and Neil Diamond. She enjoyed traveling with Ed to many places such as Mexico, Hawaii and an Alaskan Cruise. Hawaii was her favorite spot to visit. In her downtime, Marcia liked to work on puzzles and read. One of Marcia's greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren which included putting together puzzles, trips to get ice cream, watching them play sports, going to school events, and always snuggling on the couch. 

Marcia is survived by her husband Edward, whom she married on December 29, 2001, son, Ted (Harmony) Tilley, stepdaughters, Trisha (Kevin) Kearschner and Tami (Andrew) Meier, grandchildren, Cheyenne, Tori, Curtis, Lukas, Madeline, Lauren, and Bryson, and great grandson, Henry. Siblings, Deborah (Ferd) Schmitz, Rebecca Dimpfl, William (Becky) Dimpfl, Patrica Dimpfl, Randy (Marlea) Steiner, Michael Steiner, Shari (Paul) Whitford, Dawn (Donald) Cleary, and Sister-­in-law Joyce Steiner; Godchildren, Dawn, David, Ashley and Veronica, and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceeded in death by her parents Robert and Orlene; step-parents Albert and Marie, brother Rich Steiner. 

There will be a celebration of life, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Hollandale Legion from 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
