David Weier

David Allen Weier, age 71, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Our House in Richland Center, WI, after a long and courageous battle with dementia.  

Born April 3, 1952, to Norbert and Elaine (kammerud) Weier. 

Dave was a kind hearted, soft spoken, loving husband, father, brother and a friend to anyone he met.  He spent his entire working career doing what he loved in the farming industry.  As an outdoorsman he loved deer hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and taking walks down to the lumberyard to chat with the guys! 

Dave is survived by his wife Jane; sons, Cal and Timothy (Katelyn); three grandchildren, Declan, Scarlett and Mia; brothers, Denny (Joyce) Weier, John (Barb) Weier, Mark (Debbie) Weier; sisters, Mary Dickenson, Laurie (Bruce) McCluskey, Joanie (Mike) Hendrickson as well as many loved nieces and nephews. 

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Dennis Dickenson; sister and brother-in-law, Barb (Ed) Blum; sister-in-law, Terri Schlimgen; as well as his best fishing friend, Donny Foss. Hope you guys have a boat load of giant bluegills!!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Barneveld Lutheran Church with visitation from 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.  The Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland assisted the family with arrangements.  www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com
