Ronald August Arndt

Ronald August Arndt, age 84, of Dodgeville, formerly of Barneveld, died on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

He was born on October 3, 1939 to William and Dortha (Cassity) Arndt. In 1996, he sold the farm near Barneveld and bought a small, rural place near Dodgeville. He worked as a dairy farmer and then as an Ag-Mechanic for the Farmer’s Implement Store in Mineral Point until his retirement.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Eileen (Moen); his daughters Vivienne (Michael) Trace and Voneetia (Patrick) Carmody; his brother Herman Arndt; his six grandchildren Tim, Andrew, Aviva, Tanner, Bill and Misti; 12 great grandchildren; many in-laws, special nephews, nieces, cousins, other family and friends.

He is reunited with his loved ones, his son Ron, Jr., his grandson, Cadens, his parents, his brother William, his sisters Anna Mae (David) Keister, Viola (Raymond) Scheidegger.

A Memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. A visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
