Gingerlee M. Roias

Gingerlee M. Roias, age 67, of Dodgeville, died on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 8,1956 in Fall River, Massachusetts, a daughter of Alderito Sr. DeSouza and Marie Eva (Crepeau) Robillard, raised by Norman Robillard.

Gingerlee graduated from New Bedford High School in 1986. She received an associate degree from Fisher College for Teaching. On November 7, 1981, she married her loving husband Richard J. Roias and were happily married for 42 years.

Gingerlee was a member of the Lioness Club and enjoyed doing all sorts of crafting, making blankets, camping, music, going on short road trips with dad and just being with family and friends. She had to have her coffee with one sugar & milk every morning.

Gingerlee is survived by her husband Richard; her daughters Sonia M. Roias and Jaime (Kevin) Tennant; her granddaughters Tanisha Roias and Serena Phan; her grandsons Hayden Tofari, Amilo Tennant, Nathan Roias and Shane Tennant; her sisters Joanna (DeSouza) Boureois, Lynn Robillard and Dawn Robillard; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Al Jr. DeSouza and her sister Roberta (DeSouza) Ferrazza.

A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Red Room in Dodgeville.
