Glynn enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting, calling fox, bow hunting, bowling, card playing, supporting all sports with his children, nieces and nephews. He hunted deer, turkey, elk in Colorado, mule deer and antelope in Wyoming, and pheasants in the Dakota's. He also hunted for mushrooms, ginseng, and asparagus. He went to Canada several years with his fishing buddies and had many stories about their adventures. He endured horseback riding and enjoyed camping trips with the Iowa County Boots and Saddle Club. He also hauled horses to shows around Southern Wisconsin. He also spent many weekends at wrestling tournaments eventually throughout the Midwest. In later years he took old time, ballroom dancing class and attended many dances with good friends.
Glynn is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children Karen (Mike) Herberger and Jeron (Rebecca) Quincy; his grandchildren, Jacob and Bailey Herberger, Sasha, Charlotte, Grayson, Makynna, Lyndzy, and Blakelyn Quincy; his sister Beth Kurth; his brothers-in-law, William Baker, Robert Baker, Britt (Kim) Baker, Bart (Cindy) Baker, Bruce (Tasha) Baker and William McCarville; his sisters-in-law, Sidney (Bill) Schmitz and Jean (Eric) Thornton; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Elizabeth (Bentz) Quincy, Sister Cleo Miess James, Brothers in law Gene Miess, Bill James, Donald Kurth, and his in-laws William and Barbara Baker, Ben (Linda Schraeder) Baker, Brad (Carla) Baker, Shelley (William) Baker McCarville
A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 at the DODGER BOWL. Please come to share food, fellowship and memories with us.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Agrace Hospice, Sienna Crest Assisted Living, Dodgeville Wrestling Club or Mineral Point Wrestling Club.
