Change requires adjustments. Sometimes these can be small adjustments like finding a new way to do something or adding a new step to some daily routines. In other instances, you might find that change brings significant disruptions to the way you live your life.
By now, most of us are aware of the impending major construction on High Street in Mineral Point.
There have been talks of the need for reconstruction in the downtown historic district for many years, but the City has taken major steps in making it happen, and the citizens have decided what should be done.
Details have been included in recent stories published by The Democrat Tribune that include the phases of the reconstruction.
Some work began Tuesday morning on Nichols Street, but official groundbreaking has yet to begin.
Road construction is something we all have some angst about, especially when it affects the daily commute, but it's something that has to be done.
