David John Wilke, age 90, of Dodgeville, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 after a brief illness. Dave and his wife, Enid moved to Dodgeville in the mid 80's and they became deeply involved in the community. Dave was an active member of Kiwanis, helping with summer camps and fund raisers. Over the years he served on the church council at Grace Lutheran Church and on Board of the Upland Hills Health Foundation. He served his country during the Korean Conflict as an Infantry Specialist 3, stationed state-side.

As a feed salesman most of his working life, Dave traveled the state. He enjoyed meeting people and learning new things. His hobbies included fishing and hunting, and when he couldn't be out doing, he was watching it on television.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Enid.

Dave is survived by his two daughters, Carol (Bob) Pacl of Wisconsin Dells and Mary (Ed) Klein of Onalaska and his son, David (Mary) Wilke of Appleton. He is further survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Upland Hills for their care and compassion.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville followed by Military Honors. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.
