Alfred, Judith A. “Judy”
Judith A. “Judy” Alfred, age 82, of Ridgeway, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Judy was born on July 10, 1941 in Dodgeville, WI, the daughter of Olga (Miller) Fleet and Emmet Loy. She married Richard “Dick” Alfred on November 28, 1964 in Hollandale, WI.
Judy worked for Dodgeland Harvester as an office manager for many years before working at Lands’ End on phones until her retirement.
Judy’s hobbies included quilting, stitch point and reading. She was also a wonderful seamstress. She loved to watch her Wisconsin sports, the Brewers were one of her favorites even if they frustrated her at times. She also enjoyed a nice cold Blatz beer with her family and friends.
Judy is survived by her husband Dick Alfred; her children Michelle “Shelly” (Scott) Williams of Mineral Point, Todd Alfred (Tari McCabe) of Ridgeway and Jason (Kathy) Alfred of LaCrosse; her grandchildren David Williams of Pardeeville, Sawyer Clerkin of Hollandale, Jordyn Alfred of Verona, Alyssa Alfred of Madison; her sisters-in-law Connie (Dennis) Heiliger of Cross Plains and Karen (Bruse) Wolfenberger of Pewaukee; her brother-in-law Bob (Jeanne) Alfred of Ridgeway; great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
There will not be any services at this time, per Judy’s wishes.
