Dodgeville's wrestling program had a very successful Parents and Senior Night Tuesday with wins over Verona Area and Mount Horeb/Barneveld.
With most of the wrestling done this year at weekend tournaments finding time to honor parents and seniors is a challenge. But the Dodgers made it work.
Dodgeville co-coach Ryan Lord gave rundowns on the matches.
VS Verona
220-Izaak Duran
"He was doing well and just got caught. He will be a good wrestler as he keeps on competing and learning".
285-Alex Pipkorn
"He moved up and faced a kid that had at least 30 pounds on him.  He wore him down and got the pin. That was a key win for us."
106-Blaek Foust
"He was tied at 5-5 before his opponent made some late moves. Overall it was a great match."
126-Reid Spurley
"We moved him up for some competition and he got an early fall. We needed that for points]."

"He continues to make his comeback after returning from his pre-season injury. His win was a huge momentum builder for us."
