Dodgers split in pair of wrestling matches

In a couple of close non-conference matches Thursdya night the Dodgeville wrestling team came up with a split. They beat Brodhead/Juda 39-36 and lost to Verona Area 45-36.

The key matches in the win came from Ava Lord winning her first varsity match with a decision at 106 followed by a pin by Shane Rochon at 113.

In the loss the Dodgers jumped to a 36-0 lead, but were shutout the rest of the matches.
