He was born l/28/1955 the son of Jo and Charlie Knutson. He graduated in 1973 from Mineral Point High School. He married the love of his life Laura on 9/29/1978. He owned and operated JC's Again, Checkered flag and currently managed Fox Ridge Estates in Platteville.
He loved spending time at the casino, camping and UTV rides while enjoying a cold one and listening to Johnny Cash. He was an avid NASCAR fan and attended many races. His family was his life!!!
He is survived by his wife Laura, 2 sons, Shawn of Platteville, Curt (Keirsten) of Mineral Point. 4 grandchildren Emma, Mady and Talon Knutson of Mineral Point and Audrey Knutson of Baraboo. Sister Carol of Mineral Point and Brother Denny (Dot) of Linden. Brother in laws Mike (Chuck) Weitzel of Madison and Gary (Kim) Weitzel of Mineral Point. He was preceded in death by his stepson Jeremy (Whit), parents Jo and Charlie, mother and father in law Bill and Jean Weitzel.
A Last Chapter Celebration of life will be held at the Mineral Point American Legion on Saturday April 8th starting at 1:00.
