According to a recent article on the Wisconsin State Journal web page the Mount Horeb volleyball team is one to beat this season.
Dodgeville took the "to beat" part of that to heart Tuesday and beat the Vikings in five sets.
Scores were 19-25, 25-23, 25-15,18-25, 15-10.
A happy coach Kristi Bramlett had a big smile after the match.
"This was some fun volleyball," "Bramlett said. We were able to run some new plays and found our strength in attacking the ball.
She said several players contributed to the win.
"Lucy Heimerl was a huge leader on our court and played a strong serve receive game," Bramlett said.. "Lily Wiegel hit hard tonight and was nur leader in kills. Mount Horeb is a great team and it was fun to battle with them."
