Dear Editor,
I was inspired last week to read the letter by two former Wisconsin State Assembly Republican legislators, Steve Gunderson and Dale Schultz.
They enumerated several of the successful achievements made while they were in office, through constructive cooperation between both parties. It's nice to be reminded of how politics is supposed to work for the good of all citizens and not just for the privileged.
However, many others in today's Republican party deserve the pseudonym of "RINOS", since under their tutelage, nothing is achieved but hatred, dysfunction and violence. I hope that all successful candidates this week can break away from such destructive strategies, and remember why they are there.
