Vote for my dad

Dear Editor;
My name is Mallory Allen. I am the daughter of Matt Allen, who is currently running for Iowa County Circuit Court Judge upon Judge Koehler's retirement. Please don't skip away from this just because it's political, because it would mean a lot to me if you hear me out. I know that my father is the best candidate for the job, and yes, I'm biased, but from what I know about politics and the way a court is run (and you'd be surprised), my dad is not only the best and most qualified candidate, but he is also. the most passionate and invested. I know this because of what he tells me about his job. The way he talks about it, you know that he really cares about his job, Iowa County, and the meaning behind what he does.
My father, Matt Allen, has been a resident of Iowa County for 14 years, after marrying my mom, Meggan (McCaulley), and moving here after college. As for me, Iowa County has been the only home I've ever known. He finished law school at UW Madison with a Doctoral degree in law and has been proudly serving Iowa County for 10 years, as Assistant District Attorney, Corporation Counsel, and the Iowa County District Attorney. Now he has made decision to run for Judge, and I know how much he wants this from watching him run his campaign.
One thing that I just have to add is that my dad never loses sight about what and who this is for, the people of Iowa County. He knows that what he is doing is bringing something to the world that is much sought after in times like these: Justice. It is extremely important to him to do what's right, and he really wants this job so he can keep doing what's right. So, please vote Matt Allen for Iowa County Circuit Court Judge on April 5th.
Thank you for listening,
Mallory Allen
