Road ditch recyclables

Dear Editor;
Nice day. Snow receding. Decided to take a walk Monday, taking along a canvas bag and grabber.
Down one side of the road and back the other. Along the bike path (middle is still mushy) and back walking in the road ditch. All the time keeping an eye out for recyclables.
In less than half an hour, collected: 1 disposable glass; 1 brown bottle; 5 plastic bottles; and 62 either whole, compacted, or partial (probably "chewed up" by the town's mower) cans.
7 were pop cans.
87% of the beer was light/lite. Drinkers of KeyStone frequented one road while Busch was favored on the other.
What's my point(s)? Great question.
