Iowa-Grant/Highland will have five wrestlers looking the state title this weekend at the WIAA Individual Wrestling state tournament at the Kohl Center.
Elliott Biba, a sophomore 113 pounder who is 28-8 will face the winner of Jesse Berg, Cedar Grove-Belgium junior and Ray LeMieux, Coleman junior match at 11:15 am Friday.
Mason Welsh, senior 132 pounder who is 31-6 will face the winner of Ethan Dobbs, Viroqua junior and Trapper Nafzger, Mineral Point senior at 11:15 am Friday.
Caden Lindner, 138 pound junior who is 33-11 will open the meet Thursday at 7:15 pm when he faces Micah Kuchta, Coleman freshman who is 34-12. The winner faces junior Tarrin Riley of Mineral Point who is 32-2 at 11:15 Friday.
Cal Dorota, 195 pound senior who is 39-2 will face the winner of the senior Hunter Schuh of Shioton vs Jakob Koellen of Laconia at 11:15 am Friday.
Jackson Kemnitzer, a senior who is 18-8 at 220 faces Cole Marten, a Stratford senior who is 30-6 at 7:15 pm Thursday. The winner faces Wittenberg-Birnamwood junior who is 44-3 Friday at 11:15.
