Dear Editor;
That statement became blatantly clear when I stopped at one of the Dodgeville gas stations.
The first "instruction" was to take off the valve before inserting payment.
There was a charge for AIR.
(And yes, I am aware that there is a cost to running/maintaining such a device.)
I have noticed, as have you, that prices are going up on all sorts of "items."
But I believe that in the spirit of goodwill (for lack of a better word), AIR could still be offered free-of-charge.
I cannot imagine how that privilege could be abused.
If you have some insight, please share it.
