Dear Editor;
I am frequently bemused by Chronicle readers who rail against taking precautions to avoid becoming infected by covid-19. I assume that those who send letters to the editor are members of the right wing of the
Republican party. As such, they are most likely to influence other rightwingers not to protect themselves. In doing so, they are putting the health of their fellow travelers at risk. If they wish to reelect
Trump and his neophytes, how is upping the chance of infection of Republican voters going to help their cause? Dead people are not supposed to vote. Even dead Republicans.
