To the Editor:
WE HAVE FAILED AS A COMMUNITY IF THE ONLY WAY TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF SOME PEOPLE IS TO DESTROY THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
Why are we letting big energy companies like Pattern pit neighbor against neighbor? What is happening to the community of rural Iowa and Lafayette Counties? I urge you to talk to your neighbors. Wind turbines will affect everyone in the county! Do NOT sign contracts that will destroy your land. Do NOT let big money come in and buy your life. Think about the future generations. Think about what your property might look like with a huge wind turbine on it. Don't risk you health or that of your neighbor for a little cash. This isn't about the money; this is about your life and that of your community. Do the right thing for your community. Do NOT Sign!
