In response to "My Opionion"

Dear Editor;
I have not written a letter to the editor in years but felt I must respond to Kasi Greenwood's opinion with my own opinion of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict.
I watched as much of the trial as I was able. The rifle was found to be legal and the charge regarding state lines was dismissed. He had a right to carry.
He lived part-time in the city with his father who is a resident of Kenosha.
When I first saw Kyle on tv walking with the rifle I thought, "Boy this young man will be in jail for a long time." And maybe people who think he committed a crime are going by what they saw and not all of the evidence heard by the jury who concluded, after hearing much testimony, that Mr Rittenhouse acted in self defense on all three occasions as he was being attacked and on all counts that no crime was committed.
I've heard people say that now he has the right to kill people. For certain a crime will be committed if he does but THIS trial was about self defense.
