We should be kind

Dear Editor,
I was in a local store this week and overheard a clerk say, That woman in the blue coat was so rude." Who wants to be known for that? This is the season where kindness is needed and appreciated. Let's all step up a bit and try harder to be more kind to those who serve us in stores, schools, care facilities, and other places. Even in the briefest contact, our words may set the stage for positive outcomes and attitudes. While we are gearing up to be kind, let's drop a donation to the United Fund of Iowa County, at P.O. Box 63, Dodgeville, WI 53533. Your kindness will go directly to those who need it most in our county. You may be sending a smile with the SUN program, bringing relief to a student at SW Tech, or helping a child go to Badger Camp. When you support unitedfundiowacounty.org your kindness is woven with the actions of others.
